Helping Your Child: Coping with Strong Emotions

Strong emotions can be confusing and frightening to young children if they do not understand them. This is why it is important for parents to start conversations early with their child explaining emotions. Below is a list of resources that focus on how to explain intense feelings and also provides insights from other parents.
