For our first “Fun Fact Friday” post we at the Reinberger are going to share some of our favorite fun facts about Shel Silverstein, notable American writer known for his works like “A Light in the Attic,” “The Giving Tree,” and “Falling Up.”
 
Beyond being a published author, Shel Silverstein also won two Grammy Awards! He also wrote one of Johnny Cash’s biggest hits “A Boy Named Sue,” and created a sequel to the beloved song called “The Father of a Boy Named Sue.”
