Reinberger Review

Colored pencil and watercolor—such simple and delicate tools—that Victoria Turnbull uses to tell the poignant story of a little fox, Pandora, who journeys through a destitute world, making a home amongst the remaining rubble of what once was. Even still, Pandora holds onto hope and offers care and compassion to a little fallen blue bird. When the blue bird flies away, a 4-paneled full spread depicts depression and rejuvenation, followed by another full spread of life growing inside Pandora’s home, and light flooding in from the outside world. This is another great selection to add to a bibliotherapy collection.
